Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Incharge to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in managing a warehouse, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position based in India.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Supervise and train warehouse staff
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Implement and monitor warehouse procedures and standards
- Manage relationships with vendors and ensure timely delivery of products
- Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, damages, and returns
- Monitor and manage warehouse expenses within budget constraints
- Generate reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, and other relevant metrics
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse management
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and standards
- Ability to manage and train staff
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate equipment
