We are a leading textile industry looking to hire an Accountant Executive for our organization. The ideal candidate should have 0-5 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess the necessary hard skills and qualifications to excel in this role.

Responsibilities

Manage all Accounting Transactions:

• Record daily transactions accurately and timely.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.

Reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.

Manage Balance Sheets and Profit/Loss Statements:

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Assist in Month and Year-End Closing:

• Prepare journal entries and accruals as necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Cash Receipt Handling:

• Process daily receipts and prepare bank deposits.
• Ensure all cash receipts are recorded accurately.

Account Receivable Collections:

• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments.
• Contact clients for outstanding payments.

Assist with Audits:

• Prepare audit schedules and support audit process.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Annual Budget Development:

• Assist in the development of the company's annual budget.
• Monitor budget vs actual expenses throughout the year.

Tax and Compliance:

• Prepare and file quarterly sales tax, commercial rent tax, VAT, and GST returns.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements.

Financial Record Management:

• Safeguard and secure all financial records of the company.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 0-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
