About The Position
The VP Performance and Culture (India) reports to the Chief People Officer and is part of the Global Performance and Culture team. This role is tasked with designing and executing effective people-centered processes and strategies in India to enhance engagement and retention. As a senior member of the Global P&C Leadership Team, the position demands extensive HR expertise to oversee a broad range of generalist HR functions in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The role includes leading the India P&C Operations and Talent Acquisition teams while working closely with global P&C leadership, finance, marketing, the India management team, and employees.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include aligning strategies with business objectives and supporting growth, while adapting to new tasks as the organization expands as well as:
- Analyze and deliver data-driven P&C solutions tailored to India's team dynamics and needs.
- Align HR strategies with regional business objectives to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Partner with the VP, Global Employee Experience, to strengthen employee engagement and promote a positive culture.
- Work with Global Employee Experience and Marketing to boost the employment brand in India.
- Provide ethical, consistent guidance on employee relations and policy application.
- Act as a trusted advisor, coaching India leaders on leadership skills and HR best practices, ensuring compliance.
- Deliver outstanding P&C service aligned with global Employee Journey touchpoints for India employees.Lead and support change management initiatives including organizational restructuring or process improvements.
- Contribute to and act as the Global P&C Team representative in the ICE for Quality assurance / auditing purposes where required
- Provide quality, timely, and professional advice to stakeholders in relation to all HR matters.
- Collaborate with the Global P&C team to develop and implement best practice HR policies and procedures that are also consistent with Energy Exemplar's global approach to such matters where required.
- Develop strong business partnerships with the India leadership team to support business planning, including identifying learning needs to develop staff, understand staff motivations, leadership development for managers, succession planning, and retention.
- Ensure the proper administration, filing and safekeeping of all HR records as required by local law and in alignment with Global P&C processes.
- Coach and motivate the India leadership team to develop robust, innovative and creative approaches to optimise workplace engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop, implement and administer HR systems and practices to ensure Energy Exemplar remains compliant with relevant local legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards that relate to HR matters, while always trying to align with industry best practice.
- Produce detailed, accurate and informative reports on India employee such as demographics, attrition, engagement themes and present to relevant stakeholders with insight, feedback and recommendations.
- Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the business to collect information on the reasons and report on themes and any recommendations for corrective actions to Manager and Global P&C team.
- Ensure compliance against PoSH legislative requirements and drive proactive improvements to the Policy in collaboration with the Internal Committee to create a culture of inclusivity and safety for all employees.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field Master's Degree desired.
- Extensive HR leadership within product technology / software industry.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience within a global fast paced technology business with remote direct management.
- Experience managing a range of HR issues including performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, strategic HR planning and change management initiatives.
- Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated experience providing generalist human resources support to stakeholders at all levels in coordinating and implementing organisational change and aligning HR strategies with overall business strategy.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality of work is maintained.
- Experience in developing useful HR reports with people-metrics and presenting to stakeholders.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
