nThe following tasks are waiting for you:

• nBe the first hire on the ground in Bangalore: lead the site set-up by tapping into your local network to set-up an inspiring office and working environment for our India Tech Hub

• nManage talented teams of software developers - lead, hire, grow and develop our talent.

• nPlay a leading role in the architecture and design of our web and mobile apps and beyond.

• nCollaborate with product managers in developing a strategy and roadmap to deliver the best value and experience to our users

• nContinuously raise the engineering bar with experience and passion for software excellence

• nEnsure high availability, quality, performance, and efficiency of Omio apps and related services.

• nEstablish best practices for cross-team collaboration and software development processes.

• nBecome a strong player in the engineering leadership team

• nTranslate company strategy into the day-to-day operation

nWhat are we looking for in you

• nBachelor's degree in computer science or related field. MSc would be a plus.

• nA minimum of 15 years of experience as tech-leader and people manager,

• nYou should have 5+ years of experience as an engineering director or similar in a large-scale high-performing cloud-based software company.

• nA proven track record of successfully shipping web and mobile apps in an agile environment.

• nHands-on understanding of software engineering best practices and a background in software architecture and system design
