Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a VMC CAM Programmer at Multitech Tools located in Chennai. The VMC CAM Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) systems for vertical machining centers (VMC). The VMC CAM Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to develop and optimize CAM programs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software(Mastercam - 3 ,4 and 5 axis)
• Experience with CNC machining and programming
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field
