Role Overview:
As a Videographer for Aam Aadmi Party, you will play a critical role in documenting ground-level activities, events, and stories that represent the Party's vision. You will collaborate closely with the digital marketing team, providing raw video content for ad creation and other campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Ground Coverage:
- Capture high-quality videos of rallies, speeches, public interactions, and ground-level events.
- Record interviews with key stakeholders, including party leaders, volunteers, and citizens.
Storytelling:
- Identify impactful narratives and visually document them to build a strong emotional connection with the audience.
Video Production:
- Ensure all footage is well-framed, steady, and aligned with AAP's branding guidelines.
- Provide raw, organized footage to the digital marketing team promptly for post-production.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with campaign managers and digital strategists to understand content requirements.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team to align captured content with ongoing campaigns.
Technical Management:
- Operate and maintain video recording equipment.
- Ensure audio and lighting quality during shoots.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in videography, with a portfolio of past projects (preferably in a political or social domain).
- Proficiency with video equipment and editing software (basic editing for raw video prep is a plus).
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people on the ground.
- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varied schedules.
- Understanding of political and social sensitivities is a plus.
