Job Description: Video Producer (Telugu Language)
Position Overview:
Showtime Consulting is seeking a talented and innovative Video Producer with a strong content writing background, specifically in scriptwriting and video packaging, in the Telugu language. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, creating, and producing high-quality video content for our clients. This position requires a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of the Telugu language and its cultural nuances. The ability to think innovatively and demonstrate political acumen will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging video concepts and storylines that align with client objectives and target audience.
- Write compelling scripts in the Telugu language, incorporating persuasive messaging, storytelling techniques, and appropriate cultural references.
- Conduct thorough research on various topics, including politics, current affairs, and social issues, to ensure accurate and impactful content.
- Package video content by combining visuals, graphics, animations, and sound elements to create visually appealing and informative videos.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, including pre-production planning, shooting schedules, and post-production editing.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of video production, including location scouting, casting, props, and equipment.
- Work closely with videographers, video editors, and other production team members to ensure the seamless execution of video projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, video production techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of video content.
- Apply political acumen to craft videos that convey nuanced messages and engage viewers in political and social discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a Video Producer, Content Writer, or a similar role, with a focus on scriptwriting and video packaging.
- Exceptional command of the Telugu language, both written and spoken, with a deep understanding of its cultural context and sensitivities.
- Strong content writing skills, with the ability to create compelling scripts that engage and captivate the target audience.
- Proficiency in video production software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing and packaging applications.
- In-depth knowledge of political affairs, current events, and social issues, particularly within the Telugu-speaking regions.
- Ability to think innovatively and bring fresh ideas to video production, incorporating new techniques and trends.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio of previous video production work, showcasing content writing skills, creativity, and storytelling abilities in the Telugu language, is highly desirable.
