Duties/Responsibilities
Edit and produce a wide range of video content, including academics videos, tutorials, and more.
Collaborate closely with the content managers to develop and execute video concepts that align with academic collaterals.
Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine video projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.
Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices in video editing and incorporate them into our work.
Manage video assets, organize files, and ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of video footage.
Stay updated on the latest video editing software and tools, recommending upgrades or new software as needed.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to optimize video production workflows.
Mentor and guide junior video editors/interns, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.
Required Skills/Abilities
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to convey complex ideas through visual storytelling.
Creative thinking and the ability to bring innovative ideas to video projects.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and sound design is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in film production, video editing, or a related field is preferred.
Salary - Upto 70k to 80k.
