Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Video and Photo Editor who can take raw video footage and pictures, and transform them into polished, engaging, and professional content. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing both video and photo content to meet our marketing goals, ensuring that the final product is high quality and aligns with our brand's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage into compelling, high-quality final videos for various platforms (social media, websites, ads, etc.).

Edit and retouch raw photos to enhance their quality, ensuring they are visually appealing and suitable for marketing use.

Collaborate with the content team to understand the vision and deliver creative video and photo solutions.

Enhance video content with motion graphics, transitions, and effects where necessary.

Perform photo retouching, color correction, background removal, and other adjustments to improve the overall quality of images.

Organize and maintain video and photo assets for easy access and future edits.

Manage multiple video and photo editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Ensure videos and images are optimized for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) with appropriate formats and resolutions.

Collaborate with our creative team to maintain consistency with branding, messaging, and overall aesthetics.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in both video and photo editing with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end video edits and photo retouching.

Proficient in video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar.

Strong understanding of video and photo formats, codecs, and compression for web and social media.

Ability to enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and visual effects.

Extensive experience in photo editing, including retouching, color grading, background removal, and creating visually appealing compositions.

Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work remotely and independently.

Experience in editing videos and photos for social media, YouTube, or marketing campaigns is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in designing thumbnails, intros, and outros for videos.

Knowledge of video SEO and how to optimize content for online platforms.
