Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor with a passion for documentary filmmaking, TV spots, and government films. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting impactful visual stories by selecting and editing footage from our in-house database. This role involves working closely with our cinematography team to bring narratives to life and contribute to the success of our productions.
Utilize proficiency in video editing software to create compelling films, TV spots, and government films.
- Collaborate with the in-house cinematography team to understand and meet project requirements.
Select appropriate footage from the company's extensive database to match the narrative and concept of each project.- Demonstrate a keen sense of storytelling through video editing, ensuring mass targeting concepts suitable for national news channels.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance editing techniques and creative capabilities.
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new project ideas and approaches.
Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in documentary, TV spot, or government film production.- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the cinematography team and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of mass targeting concepts and audience preferences for national news channels.- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for selecting appropriate footage to enhance storytelling.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
