Job Title: Video Editor with Motion Graphics- Overview: As a Video Editor with Motion Graphics, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and dynamic video content that engages and informs audiences. You will combine your skills in video editing and motion graphics to produce high-quality videos for various purposes, such as marketing campaigns, social media, corporate presentations, and more. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to deliver polished and impactful visual storytelling.
Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into cohesive and engaging videos that align with project goals and client expectations.
Cut and trim footage segments, apply transitions, add music, and synchronize audio for seamless video flow.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine edits and achieve desired outcomes.
Motion Graphics Design:
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
Design titles, lower thirds, and other graphical elements to complement video narratives.
- Utilize animation software and tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to bring static visuals to life.
Storyboarding and Visualization:
- Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and creative directors to storyboard video concepts.
Visualize ideas and concepts through sketches, mood boards, or animatics to outline the flow and pacing of videos.
Ensure technical quality and consistency of video and audio elements.- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, adhering to technical specifications and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies related to video editing and motion graphics.
- Project Management and Collaboration:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the production process.
Collaborate with producers, directors, and videographers to align on project objectives and deliverables.
- Quality Control and Final Delivery:
Conduct quality checks on final edits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.- Export and deliver final video files in appropriate formats and resolutions for distribution and publishing.
Proven experience as a video editor with proficiency in motion graphics design.- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D).
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
Creative flair, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different visual styles and brand guidelines.- Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, animation, or a related field is preferred.
Creativity and a passion for visual storytelling.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively under pressure.
