Collaborate with the director and other members of the production team to ensure the final product meets their creative vision and specifications.
Use non-linear editing software to assemble the footage, make corrections and modifications, and add visual effects, music, and sound.
Ensure that the final product is of the highest quality, with clear and precise audio and visual elements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in video editing technology and techniques, and incorporate them into the work where appropriate.
Manage the file-based workflow, including the organization of digital assets and backups.
Work within tight deadlines, often under pressure, to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in film, video production, or a related field.
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in non-linear editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Strong technical skills, including an understanding of audio and visual editing techniques, color correction, and special effects.
Excellent creative skills, with an eye for visual storytelling and an ability to interpret the directors vision.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with the director and other members of the production team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
