Role DescriptionAs a Video Editor you will be responsible for the creation of 9ine's digital media content and ensuring that it aligns with the business objectives and products. The content created must be original and provide a compelling story to articulate the brand and products. The successful candidate will design digital media campaigns, coordinate and create digital content, and manage end to end digital products. You will align the design and brand with the business, and take direction from the PMO/UI/UX Designer. You will work across 9ine's website, Platform App and internal intellectual property for digital media creation, in particular video. The candidate will support the wider business's design and marketing teams by maintaining a strong relationship and coordinating with sales, marketing, and product specialists.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing digital content including videos and infographics.
Creating digital content to help users understand the functionality of the App.
- Editing digital content to agreed standards.
Working with product specialists to understand functionality.- Reporting on media engagement, identifying weaknesses and improvements.
Creating marketing materials for the website.
- Recording of raw materials, including items such as camera footage, dialogue, graphics.
Collating raw materials into a suitable, finished product ready for publication.- Creating the digital content for our social media platforms.
Supporting the development of the digital content strategy.
- Supporting marketing initiatives.
Proactively recommending areas of improvement.- Liaising with colleagues to promote your ideas.
Aiding the development of the brand.
Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or editing software packages.
Good Knowledge of additional Adobe tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.- Integrating captions and subtitles efficiently into videos.
Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
Experience in the creation of digital media to aid the understanding of a businesses product offering.- Experience in working with wider teams and pulling on subject expertise, while maintaining ownership of digital content creation.
Proven experience in creating narrative video content, within the technology, consultancy or creative industries.
- Portfolio of completed video productions.
Freelancing experience would be preferred.- Ability to work to a tight schedule.
Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
