Vice President of Technology

We're looking for a VP of Technology who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. You will be responsible for the strategic design, management, and implementation of an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure. As VP of technology, you will also be directly monitoring the execution of the technical vision and development of our web and mobile platform. As Vice President of Technology, you will establish technology standards and analyse technology trends that could improve the company's products and performance.

Relevant start-up experience will be a huge plus!

1. Develop and execute the technology infrastructure for scale to lead MapOut through hyper-growth

2. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals including managing a roadmap that will support rapid growth.

3. Deliver business results in the areas of IT Operations, IT Security and compliance, Enterprise business systems, business process, and system integration

4. Build, hire, develop, and manage a strong information technology team

5. Be customer zero for MapOut product features that enable an IT organization.

Key Requirements:

1. Outstanding knowledge of MERN Stack and React Native for scalable web and mobile applications.
2. Have worked and demonstrated excellent knowledge of technologies and frameworks like ReactNative, Redis, Next.JS, Node.JS, MongoDB, WebSockets, Payment gateways, etc.
3. Have excellent knowledge of cloud setup for scalable applications, especially AWS.
4. Have designed and implemented applications hosted across geographies and server the content to users in multiple languages and with customised content based on user location.
5. Extensive hands-on experience with the design, development, and implementation of IT systems
6. Proven track record in growing business
7. Experience leading IT in a high growth environment and at scale - VP Information Technology, CIO, or similar role
8. Analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
