Department: Executive Management

Location: India (with frequent interactions with clients in the US and Europe)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary: The Vice President of Strategy will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining strategic initiatives that drive the company's growth and ensure the alignment of our service offerings with market demands and client needs. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and marketing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the development of the company's long-term strategic goals.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to drive business growth, enhance market presence, and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and evaluate business opportunities, partnerships, and new markets.

2. Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Develop insights into client needs and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Utilize data to drive strategic initiatives and measure their impact.

3. Client and Partner Engagement:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment with client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships that enhance our service offerings.

4. Innovation and Growth:

  • Champion innovation within the organization, promoting new ideas and approaches.
  • Identify and drive strategic projects that contribute to growth, such as new service lines or technological advancements.
  • Oversee the Skill Diversification process, ensuring employees upskill effectively to meet future demands.

5. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor the strategy team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

6. Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage the strategy budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure strategies are aligned with financial goals.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and executive team on strategic progress and financial implications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Salesforce ecosystem or marketing technology industry.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other marketing technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
