Objective:
The VP, Sales will be instrumental in driving significant revenue growth in India by leveraging general sales skills, excellent networking capabilities, and a deep understanding of the client's needs and industry trends. The role requires proactive leadership in new business development, strategic account management, and team leadership.
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 8 years in high-level sales environments, preferably in agency sales or B2B corporate sales within the Indian market.
Proven track record of developing new business and effectively managing and expanding client relationships in India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead managing business development initiatives across India,the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Conduct quarterly business reviews and assessments to ensure sales strategies and objectives are being met in the Indian market.
Support and build sales channels to expand market reach across India.
Self-generate leads, qualify prospects, create sales proposals, and close deals specifically for the Indian market.
Manage and nurture leads generated by the company within India.
Coordinate with the delivery team for key account pitches, ensuring pitches are compelling and delivered on time.
Present pitches and proposals, handle objections, and negotiate to close deals within India.
Oversee contract modifications, execution, and compliance in the Indian business environment.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to the delivery team, and provide a monthly overview of execution progress within India.
Ensure timely invoicing and participate in recovery processes as needed within the Indian market.
Explore new business opportunities such as industry or service expansions within the Indian market.
