Global Advanced Solutions
The Global Advanced Solutions organization provides key private and public client support in Financial Reporting, Advanced Solutions and Global Intelligence including ongoing client service on both Shareworks and Equity Edge Online, critical function support for equity administration, data and automation, reporting, tax and legal compliance and subject matter expertise in the respective areas. In addition, the Global Intelligence team provides clients with global legal and tax information related to equity compensation and assists companies to manage their tax withholding obligations.
Global Advanced Solutions Manager Role
The Global Advanced Solutions Manager is responsible for coaching and leading the Center of Excellence (CoE) team and ensuring efficient and accurate execution of all projects and tasks assigned to the team. The CoE will support Financial Reporting, Advanced Solutions and Global Intelligence in various projects including, but not limited to: client onboarding and product set up, process management, documentation, administration support, SoWs and contracts, quality assurance, client queries, technical problem solving, reporting building, and client facing team support. The role will also be responsible for designing improvements to existing processes, increasing the capacity of the CoE capability and scaling the support model to handle more and more complex tasks.
Global Advanced Solutions Manager Responsibilities
- Leads and mentors a cross-functional team to provide comprehensive support for clients equity compensation plans, including financial reporting, global tax and regulatory, data, automation, and administrative solutions.
- Manage, prioritize and report on project queue
- Providing day-to-day leadership support to the CoE team, including but not limited to:
- providing technical support
- remove barriers impacting the success of projects and queue efficiency
- providing meaningful input into performance-related discussions and annual performance review process
- supporting team members in a coaching and mentorship capacity and as a subject-matter-expert where necessary
- acting as escalation point for projects and queue inquiries
- Develops and implements strategic operating procedures to ensure high-quality results and continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
- Manages and contributes to projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables, maintaining strong relationships, and delivering at the highest standards.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement automated solutions, integrate systems, and manage third-party engagements effectively.
- Proactively identifies and escalates issues as necessary to the Heads of Financial Reporting, Advanced Solutions, and Global Intelligence business to ensure client satisfaction.
- Creates and maintains document processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to streamline operations of the Global Advanced Solutions businesses.
Global Advanced Solutions Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree or certifications such as CEP, JD, or CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years Qof experience in financial services, FinTech, equity compensation, or related industries, with a focus on financial reporting, equity plans compliance, data and/or automation solutions.
- Technical understanding of equity compensation accounting, tax, systems and/or reporting requirements
- Experience with equity compensation administration platforms such as Shareworks, Equity Edge Online, or similar systems preferred but not required.
- Proven success in leading teams and executing solutions to develop strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively problem-solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations and articulate complex concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous learning and training opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for data manipulation; experience with database management software preferred.
