We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Technology Liaison Ito join our Global Custody team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID role.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manages and provides direction to a team of business technology liaison staff supporting the technical needs of the business area.
  • Manages initiatives to analyse complex business problems to be solved with improved systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed.
  • Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
  • Works with business areas to identify opportunities for technical improvements.
  • Manages human capital resources and develops and monitors project plans and budgets.
  • Responsible for estimation processes for projects.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Manages a team of professionals including coaching, performance management and resource allocation.
  • Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 10 plus years of total work experience preferred. Technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in Corporate Actions and Income, understanding of the risks
  • Ability to learn systems
  • Experience of managing teams remotely is preferable.
  • Previous project management/change management experience.
  • Weekend installation oversight
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to work with both technology and the business to escalate, triage and resolve system issues collaboratively.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
