Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership:Oversee the academic programs, curriculum development, and faculty recruitment.

- Ensure adherence to University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines and other regulatory standards.
- Strategic Planning:Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the university's growth and development.
- Identify emerging trends in higher education and adapt to changing global needs.
- Set ambitious goals and targets for the university's performance.
- Financial Management:Oversee the university's financial resources and budgeting processes.
- Ensure efficient utilization of funds and optimize resource allocation.
- Develop sustainable funding models and explore new revenue streams.
- Infrastructure Development:Drive the development of state-of-the-art infrastructure, including academic facilities, research labs, and student housing.
- Create a conducive learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
- Student Affairs:Promote student welfare, academic success, and overall development.
- Foster a strong student community and encourage extracurricular activities.
- Implement effective student support services, including counseling and career guidance.
- Internationalization:Expand the university's global footprint through international partnerships and collaborations.
- Attract international students and faculty to create a diverse and inclusive campus.
- Promote student and faculty exchange programs.
- Governance and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Represent the university at various forums and engage with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field from a reputed institution.
- Proven track record of leadership in higher education, preferably in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of the Indian higher education system and UGC regulations.
- Strong academic credentials and research publications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
- International experience is highly desirable.
