Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Oncology Resident at The Cancer Vet in Mumbai. As a Veterinary Oncology Resident, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cancer care to pets, including diagnosis, treatment planning, chemotherapy administration, surgical interventions, and monitoring the progress of patients. You will work closely with a team of experienced oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to deliver the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in performing complex surgical procedures, with a good foundation in surgical techniques.
• Excellent clinical skills, including patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and the veterinary team.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
• Candidates with experience in veterinary oncology will be given preference.
• Preferred Qualifications: MVSc (Surgery & Radiology) degree or BVSc & AH with a minimum of two years of extensive surgical experience.
