Job Title: Veterinary Doctor
- Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team in providing top-tier healthcare for pets. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in animals, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on best practices for pet care and nutrition. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of animals through preventive care, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment plans. The role also requires maintaining thorough medical records and working closely with a team of pet care professionals in a positive, collaborative environment.
- Examination & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical examinations to assess the health of pets and diagnose any medical issues or conditions.
- Medical Treatment: Administer appropriate treatments, including prescribing medications, vaccinations, and preventive care measures, ensuring pets receive the highest standard of care.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform both routine and advanced surgeries such as spaying, neutering, and emergency procedures, ensuring pets are treated with precision and care.
- Post-Surgery Care: Monitor and guide recovery processes post-surgery, providing follow-up care as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Pet Owner Education: Provide detailed guidance to pet owners on health maintenance, nutrition, and overall wellness for their pets, ensuring they are informed about preventive healthcare strategies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, including treatments administered, follow-up visits, and any surgical or diagnostic procedures conducted.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other veterinary staff, nurses, and pet care professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all animals.
- Emergency Care: Respond to emergency cases with urgency and competence, utilizing sound judgment to stabilize and treat animals in critical conditions.

- Educational Background: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc), or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of medical conditions in pets, including performing surgeries.
- Veterinary Skills: Expertise in Veterinary Medicine, Surgery, and Animal Health Care, with a sound understanding of animal physiology, disease processes, and appropriate treatments.
- Surgical Proficiency: Experience in performing a variety of surgeries, from routine to emergency procedures.
- Pet Nutrition & Wellness Knowledge: Strong understanding of pet care, nutrition, and wellness practices, and the ability to communicate these effectively to pet owners.
Compassionate and empathetic approach towards both animals and pet owners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and education.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring excellent patient care.- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage records and follow-up care.
