About the job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Venture Partner to join our team on an outcome-based contract role. The Venture Partner will leverage their extensive network and relationships with decision-makers in B2B segments to drive business development and sales, contributing to the growth and impact of our platform.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and engage with potential clients in B2B segments, including higher education, startup ecosystem, industry, government policymakers, and development agencies/NGOs.

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the platform's presence and influence within these segments.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Sales Strategy:

Drive sales efforts, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.

Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Market Insights:

Provide valuable market insights and feedback to inform product development and strategic decisions.

Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably within the B2B segments mentioned.

Strong network and established relationships with decision-makers in higher education, startup ecosystem, industry, government policymakers, and development agencies/NGOs.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Passionate about driving innovation and contributing to the growth of the startup ecosystem.
