JD Venture Coach
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Venture Coach will be responsible for the following:
- Coach ventures (Faculty/Alumni/Students) assigned to them and fulfill all requirements for completing the RSG (NU-IDEA Ready, Set, Go) program.
- Actively scout for innovations across the campus(es) and enroll them in the RSG program.
- Track the progress of the coaching teams and ensure that all processes are followed.
- Ensure stage gate pitching readiness of coaching teams assigned to them and help them to graduate the stage gate pitching session successfully.
- Work along with SVC to coach teams in advanced stages.
- Conduct relevant outreach activities, workshops, master classes, etc. to attract Faculty/Alumni/Students to be part of the RSG program.
- Actively utilize the venture mentor network, maker space ace, and other elements to benefit venture teams.
Interpersonal Skills:
- A dynamic and confident person who shows significant leadership skills.
- Must be Committed to actively coaching student/faculty/alumni teams.
- Experienced in entrepreneurship skill development and should have a broad understanding of the ecosystem.
- Fully versed and should actively utilize the pre-incubation process to drive successful outcomes. Experience in an educational or research organization is highly desirable.
- Proactive individual with excellent communication skills and potential to be a leader.
- Should be able to work well in a team and demonstrate the ability to cooperate with the rest of the coaching fraternity actively.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of an MBA Degree with a consistently good/outstanding academic record.
- With at least 2-3 years of experience working in an entrepreneurship pre-incubation environment.
Preferably in an educational or research organization.
