This position will be responsible to manage the Vendor Financial Health Check, OFAC check and participate in VRA calls & in risk and security processes for Ameriprise Third Party Risk Management.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in risk and security processes for Ameriprise Third Party Risk Management.
- Perform due diligence related to Third Party relationships, including performing Financial Risk Analysis, organizational information, and management of alerts. Investigating alerts for depth of issues and impacts to organization.
- Manage the administration and ownership of multiple tools like Rapid Ratings & Capital IQ for monitoring news and financial health. Supporting Enterprise Sourcing for detailed VFH analysis for RFPs or major deals.
- Delivering financial risk analysis utilizing data and information from multiple financial health tools to form a position on financial stress and the associated impact to the business.
- Reviewing financial health developments/issues which may impact a vendor s ability to remain financially viable and support the business. Create process related reports and communicate with business partners and senior leadership. Create follow-up actions and assign to them appropriate parties.
- Scheduling VRA Calls with the Security Teams (Information Security, Physical Security and Business Continuity), Line of Business and other stakeholders within the given stipulated time (SLA)
- Facilitate the calls with Security Teams, Line of Business and other stakeholders. Publishing meeting notes and requirements to business after the VRA Call within the given SLA. Attending to various VRA related queries/concerns from different teams through e-mail/phone. Assisting and managing risk related documentation in GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) applications like Archer, Ariba.
- Assisting business and other with tools (Archer) related queries. Creating VRA related reports and sharing with team and business
- Assisting audit owners and other key stake holders in interpreting the risks associated with Audit findings. Planning and executing risk related strategies to ensure timely closure of open audit findings. Creating follow-up actions and assign to appropriate parties.
- Supporting the delivery and documentation of Security reviews in line with Ameriprise Vendor Risk policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Master s degree specializing in Finance/ financial analysis.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, IT Risk, Vendor Management and Business Relationship Management.
- Good in documentation (taking meeting minutes, documenting a process or procedure)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (word, excel, ppt)
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of vendor risk management and information security concepts.
- Understanding of GRC tools and other Operational risk management tools
- PowerPoint presentation skills, Reporting skill in Excel
- Preferred Certifications - ISO Certification; Risk Related Certifications
