Work Timings: 11 AM 8 PM (IST) | Extendable to 10 PM (IST) whenever required

Job Description

As a VB.NET developer, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using VB.NET in a Windows environment. Also work with SQL Server databases to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET within a Windows environment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

· Database Integration: Develop and manage SQL Server databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and integrating database functionality with VB.NET applications.

· System Integration: Ensure smooth integration between VB.NET applications and SQL Server databases, addressing any performance or compatibility issues.

· Code Optimization: Optimize application performance through code analysis, debugging, and refactoring.

· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including analysts, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and implement solutions.

· Testing: Perform thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs and ensure reliability.

· Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for software development processes, code changes, and application functionality.

· Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed.

Must have:

· 5-6 years of professional and hands-on experience in VB.NET development with a strong understanding of Windows-based application development

· Excellent programming skills in VB.NET and .NET.

· Strong experience with SQL Server including database design, querying and optimization.
