VAVE- Electrical Design Engineer

Scope of Role

The Design Engineer is responsible for generating Electrical component VAVE ideas, CREO Electrical Wiring Harness - 3D CAD, 2D drawing & Schematic, concepts/ solutions for ongoing and new VAVE projects for Off Highway Industry customers.

Functional Skills:
Electrical Schematics, Wiring Harness, Routing, Electrical & Electronics.

Domain Skills:
IHM Electrical & Electronics, Wiring Harness

Tool Skills:

EE Component Development, CREO 7.0 Electrical, CREO Schematic, Electrical wiring harness layout, Schematic design, Flattening, wiring harness drawings creation, Part design and Assembly design.

Area of Responsibility:

This position is responsible for generating component VAVE Ideas, creation of 3D CAD, 2D Drawing & Schematic Wiring Harness:

.Core knowledge required in off-highway equipment. Or any other heavy industry.

.Work experience in Telehandler, Boom Lift and Excavator will be add on advantage.

.Candidate shall have demonstrated experience in design and development of NPD systems regards

oCost out process

oVAVE process, Project Execution

oSound knowledge of design process Work & interact with global cross-functional and cross-cultural team.

.Design knowledge of various manufacturing process and system integration.

.Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS and DFMEA is essential.

.Expertise of Electrical Wiring Harness Routing and Packaging, schematic design, Electric circuit design.

.Expertise in using CREO Electrical & CREO schematics work benches.

.Update electrical schematics for Vehicle, Motor control centres.

.Experience of Electrical Components Packaging and Integration (Bracket Design)

.Experience of Harness component selection Like connector, terminal, wire, Covers.

.Expertise in Design of Clamps, Brackets, Panels, Grommets, Seals, Fuse box & Channels for Wiring Harness at desired locations.

.Experience of using TeamCenter and/or other PDM tools

Knowledge / Experience: 4 to 8 Years.

Essential:

.Extensive experience in using CREO Electrical 7.0 or above

.Good all-round design skills which must include experience of working on IHM Electrical domain

.Windchill Experience.

.Engineering knowledge of defined EE Component(s) / System(s) design, Function, Performance, Production & Manufacturing requirements

.Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels,

PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
