Responsible execution of Value Engineering (VE) as part of the product development process with the goal of cost and benefit optimization of product innovations in cooperation with the respective Technical Product Managers and 3D product development
Self-motivated initiating and carrying out Value Analyses (VA) for further development
Improvement of defined products in close coordination and cooperation with the Technical Product Managers
Responsible project management of assigned continuous improvement ( Cockpit ) projects and VA/VE workshops
Supporting project managers in the creation of product design FMEAs as part of product development projects.
Support of the Technical Product Managers in the creation and maintenance of product specifications
Development, initiation and execution of Value Engineering (VE) in the context of new product developments as well as Value Analyses (VA) for existing products with the objective of cost/customer benefit optimization in close coordination and cooperation with the Technical Product Managers and 3D product development
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree from a university in process engineering, mechanical engineering or alike
Master of Engineering Degree from a university in process engineering, mechanical engineering will be advantageous
First experience 3 to 5 years in VA/VE or a similar quality engineering or R&D function is beneficial, but a talented newcomer with potential to advance into a future management function is also welcome
Training in the use or moderation of FMEA, especially product design FMEA, and in the field of VA/VE value analysis/value engineering, Design of Six Sigma or Lean Green Belt Training is a plus
Working Proficiency in advanced level of microsoft versions such as MS Office
Candidate should possess very high level of interpersonal skills
