Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct evaluative research, such as usability tests, card sorting, and heuristic evaluations, to gain deep insights into user behaviors and needs.
- Support generative research efforts, including contextual inquiries, ethnographic studies, and data mining.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, analytics, product management, and customer support teams to communicate insights and drive product innovation.
- Create testable hypotheses and use research findings to validate or challenge product decisions.
- Apply knowledge of research methodologies, user-centered design principles, and statistics to product and service development in an iterative environment.
- Lead qualitative data analysis and support ongoing survey design and execution.
- Conduct secondary research, competitive analysis, and comparative studies to inform design strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in UX, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience conducting user research for software/web-based products.
- Proven expertise in user-centered design principles and research methodologies.
- Experience in quantitative survey programming, mobile/web UX research, or global product development is a plus.
