Job Overview
We are seeking a Wireframe Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience in wireframing and UI/UX design to join our growing team. As a Wireframe Specialist, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to create user-centric wireframes and interactive prototypes that support our digital products development process. You'll be responsible for turning ideas into actionable wireframes that align with the business goals and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wireframe Creation: Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups based on project requirements. You'll focus on structuring intuitive user interfaces, ensuring that the designs align with best UX practices and are functional and user-friendly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to ensure wireframes are consistent with the overall design direction and meet business and user needs.
- User Flows & Information Architecture: Develop user flows and organize information architecture that supports intuitive navigation, ensuring the wireframe effectively communicates the user journey.
- Iterative Prototyping: Develop interactive wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Iterate and refine wireframes based on feedback from internal teams and user testing.
- UX Research Support: Assist with user research and usability testing to understand the target audience's needs and behaviors, using insights to inform wireframe design decisions.
- Design Consistency & Standards: Ensure all wireframes are aligned with established design systems and branding guidelines, maintaining consistency across all screens and product platforms.
- Documentation & Presentation: Document wireframe specifications and present your designs to stakeholders, clearly communicating design decisions and rationale.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of wireframes and prototypes with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any usability issues before moving into development.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 35 years of hands-on experience as a Wireframe Specialist, UX Designer, or similar role with a focus on wireframing and prototyping.
- Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong proficiency in wireframing and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, or similar.
- UX/UI Design Knowledge: In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing techniques, and interactive prototyping. Familiarity with designing for both web and mobile platforms.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
- Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting wireframes and design rationale to stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing wireframe examples and interactive prototypes you've created for various projects, demonstrating your ability to turn complex ideas into simple and user-friendly interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Usability Testing: Experience conducting or assisting with usability testing and interpreting feedback to iterate and improve wireframes.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to effectively communicate with developers and understand feasibility constraints.
