Summary
As a User Experience (UX) Designer specializing in cybersecurity, you'll collaborate closely with fellow professionals in the field to gain insights into the intricacies of daily operations within this dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be on crafting UX design solutions to address the multifaceted challenges present in the cybersecurity threat landscape.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional duties may be assigned as required.)
- Developing and maintaining design wire-frames and specifications using Figma
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and turn around high quality artifacts quickly
- Collaborating with product management and creative inputs to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the end product
- Communicating screen designs, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and the target audience to other members of the project team
- Considering the human-computer interface element of a design
- Comparing the user experience of existing applications and working to design better alternatives
- Keeping current with industry trends and competitor products, and communicating design prototypes and ideas to developers
- Working with UI Engineers to implement attractive designs
- Developing task flows and wireframes based on user needs
- Strong understanding of creating interfaces that are engaging and information dense that does not introduce heavy cognitive load
Preferred Required Skills
- An understanding of the cybersecurity market and/or worked with cybersecurity products
- A passion for solving problems and making things that people will love to use
- An understanding of user-centered design principles
- The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work well in a team as well as independently
