The US IT Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers and oversees the entire recruitment process to ensure the acquisition of high-caliber IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical staffing needs
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates
- Conduct initial interviews and assess candidate qualifications
- Present and negotiate job offers with potential candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals
- Provide timely updates to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Collaborate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
- Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate data and communication
- Participate in job fairs and networking events to attract IT talent
- Conduct reference and background checks for potential hires
- Adhere to all legal and compliance requirements throughout the recruitment process
- Provide regular reports and metrics on recruitment activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the recruitment process and candidate experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter or IT staffing specialist
- Strong understanding of IT terminology, roles, and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Certification in Human Resources or Recruitment is a plus
