US healthcare (RCM ) Eligibility and Benefits

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Eligibility and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of the US healthcare system. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, determining eligibility for medical services, and coordinating benefits for our patients.

*Interested candidates must be comfortable with night shift(9pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients using electronic verification systems and direct contact with insurance providers.
• Review and interpret insurance benefits and explain coverage details to patients and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve issues related to coverage, claims, and billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and documentation.
• Educate patients on their insurance coverage, benefits, and financial responsibilities.
• Collaborate with billing and coding specialists to ensure accurate billing practices.

Required Qualifications:

*Interested candidates must have experience working with US Clientele.

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience working with insurance eligibility verification and benefits coordination within the US healthcare system.
• Strong understanding of insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and managed care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and insurance verification software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Healthcare Insurance, such as Certified Healthcare Insurance Specialist (CHIS) or similar preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working in a medical billing or healthcare administrative role.
