Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Employment Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly in handling cases related to wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage disputes, and other employment-related matters. This role involves drafting pleadings, managing case files, and providing robust support to our legal team to ensure our clients receive top-tier legal representation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials related to employment law cases.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to support case preparation.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case to gather information and schedule interviews or depositions.
- Support attorneys during trial preparations.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of all legal documents.
- Prepare necessary legal forms and documents to be filed in courts and other relevant authorities.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including calendaring, scheduling, and correspondence management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Law is a must.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on employment law.
- Prior experience as an employment paralegal in US Laws is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of US employment law, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage disputes, and related issues.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
