Job responsibilities:
Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:
- Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
- Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap- up.
- Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in United State.
- Able to do US GAAP & US GAAS research independently.
- Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
- Industry Exposure: Real-estate
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel.
- Communicate with Senior/Supervisor/ Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.
- Focus on value addition and quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate must have:
- CPA (or in process) or CA with 6 months- 2 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US Offices
- Strong organizational skills & multi-tasking abilities are required.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well independently but also work well with others.
- Approaches projects with a sense of urgency
- Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge of Caseware, caseview and IDEA is a plus.
- Strong auditing skills.
