Position: US GL Accountant

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Qualification: CA Semi-qualified, B.Com, or MBA in Accounting

Location: HYD

Shift Timing - 2 PM to 11 PM.

Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented GL Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. This client-facing role demands excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in US Accounting and be proficient in managing end-to-end accounting processes. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling all aspects of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets accounting.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and deliver tailored accounting solutions.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and support external auditors during financial audits.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• CA Semi-qualified, B.Com, or MBA in Accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in US Accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
• Experience in a client-facing role or working in a consulting environment.
