Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Liferay Backend Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and extensive experience working with Liferay version 7.3 & 7.4. In addition to their technical expertise, the candidate will be able to handle presales activities and effectively communicate in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components for Liferay.
- Implement and manage custom solutions within the Liferay framework.
- Optimize Liferay portal performance and scalability.
- Presales Activities:
- Assist the sales team with technical expertise during client engagements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and proof of concepts (POCs) tailored to client requirements.
- Address technical queries and provide solutions to client concerns during the sales process.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards.
- Communication & Documentation:
- Communicate complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions and processes.
- Provide training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Liferay.
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Liferay DXP, OSGi framework, and modular development.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Presales Skills:
- Proven experience in handling presales activities, including client presentations and technical proposals.
- Ability to create and deliver effective product demonstrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address client technical concerns.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Liferay development.
