Overview
We are currently seeking candidates for urgent openings in Informatica and Teradata. This role is crucial to our organization as it involves managing, designing, and developing data integration solutions to meet business needs and improve data quality. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica and Teradata tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Participate in database design and data modeling activities.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Assist in performance tuning and optimization of data integration workflows.
- Work with Unix/Linux environments for scripting and automation of ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of data integration projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 2+ years of experience with Teradata database and utilities.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data integration issues.
- Understanding of data quality management and data governance principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
