Job Overview:

JSK Shipping and Logistics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting processes, including handling petty cash, GST, TDS, and reconciliations, with prior experience in the logistics industry being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Handle sales and purchase entries, maintaining accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Perform customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Oversee GST & TDS compliance, ensuring timely filing and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.

Qualifications:

A graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of GST and TDS and its applications.

Experience in managing petty cash and handling sales/purchase entries.

Excellent reconciliation skills with a keen eye for detail.

Previous experience in the logistics industry is a plus and will be highly valued.

Skills & Attributes:
