Foster strong relationships with universities and colleges to stay informed about program offerings, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Assist students in preparing application materials, including resumes, personal statements, and recommendation letters.
Organize workshops and seminars to educate students about various university programs, admission tests, and study abroad opportunities.
Collaborate with other counselors and academic advisors to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in university program counseling or academic advising.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with students from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of various university programs, admission processes, and academic requirements.
Familiarity with career assessment tools and resources.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and counseling software.
