- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Guna plant, including crushing, refining, and solvent extraction of mustard and soya oil.
- Ensure continuous production at optimum capacity while maintaining quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and manage the entire production cycle from seed processing (crushing) to oil extraction, refining, and final product packaging.
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the crushing, refining, and solvent extraction operations to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance energy efficiency, evaluate and introduce new technologies.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of strict quality control standards for raw materials, in-process products, and finished edible oils.
- Lead a team of plant managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators to ensure high levels of efficiency, productivity, and morale.
- Supervise the maintenance of critical equipment involved in crushing, refining, and extraction processes to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Prepare and manage the plant's annual budget, ensuring that financial goals are met while maintaining production efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the plant.
- Provide strategic inputs to senior management for decision-making, including production forecasts, cost analysis, and operational performance reports.
- We are seeking an accomplished Unit Head with deep expertise in the crushing, refining, and solvent extraction of edible oils-particularly mustard and soya oil.
- Experience inedible oil industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and automation in a manufacturing setup.
- Laisioning with Govt. department / strong in Administration.
