Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a UI/UX Developer at Workassist in Hyderabad. The UI/UX Developer will be responsible for tasks such as creating mockups, visual design, prototyping, front-end development, and user experience design (UED).

We are seeking an experienced and innovative UI Lead with 6+ years of hands-on experience in user interface design and development. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in UI Architecture, Design Systems, and Team Leadership, with a strong background in delivering highly interactive and engaging interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the UI design and development process for web and mobile applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences.
• Define and maintain the UI architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical constraints.
• Create, implement, and oversee Design Systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to translate wireframes, user stories, and business requirements into engaging, functional UI solutions.
• Manage a team of UI developers and designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional growth.
• Establish best practices and ensure the team adheres to UI/UX guidelines and coding standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in UI Architecture and designing scalable, modular interfaces.
• Expertise in Design Systems and maintaining consistency across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with UI testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience in leading a UI team in an agile environment.

• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools and software
• Knowledge of responsive design principles
• Experience with usability testing and user research
