Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer to design and develop engaging, user-friendly SharePoint web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both user interface design and front-end development, with specific expertise in SharePoint. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SharePoint administrators, and developers to create and enhance SharePoint-based solutions that meet user needs and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

User Interface Design:

*Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces for SharePoint web applications.

*Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.

*Develop and maintain design standards, style guides, and UI patterns for SharePoint.

User Experience (UX) Design:

*Conduct user research and gather user requirements through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

*Develop user personas, journey maps, and use cases to guide design decisions.

*Continuously improve and iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.

Front-End Development:

*Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

*Develop custom web parts, extensions, and applications for SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

*Integrate third-party APIs and services with SharePoint.

Collaboration:

*Work closely with SharePoint administrators to implement and deploy solutions.

*Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end designs with server-side logic.

*Participate in regular design and development reviews, providing and incorporating feedback.

Maintenance and Support:

*Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing SharePoint web applications.

*Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues reported by users.

*Ensure the security and performance of SharePoint solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Design, or a related field.

*3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.

*Strong experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

*Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

*Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

*Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

*Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

*Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

*Microsoft SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate).

*Knowledge of back-end development technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET).

*Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and integration with SharePoint.

*Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

*Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
