Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences and will play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of our digital products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research and gather user requirements through various methods including interviews, surveys, and usability studies.
- Analyze and interpret user feedback and activity to enhance the user experience.
- Design & Prototyping:
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of the designs.
- Testing & Evaluation:
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Continuously improve the user experience of our digital products.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of related projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with usability testing tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to present and defend your design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Experience in creating detailed user journey maps.
