Position Description: As a UI/UX Design Lead, you will spearhead our design team, collaborating
closely with software engineers, product managers, and program managers in a highly collaborative
environment to create innovative products for the US market. Your role will involve leading the
design process, ensuring user-centric solutions, and maintaining design consistency across all
platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, fostering a culture
of creativity and excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and
implement innovative design solutions.
- Design Strategy: Develop and execute design strategies that align with business objectives
and user needs. Ensure the design vision is effectively communicated and implemented
across all projects.
- User-Centric Design: Drive the translation of product requirements into rich, intuitive, and
engaging user experiences. Create and ensure creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-
fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts. Test wireframes and
storyboards faster to get early user feedback.
- Design System Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the design
system to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders,
incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
- Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design,
integrating relevant insights into the design process.
Requirements & Qualification
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a
leadership role. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar software is essential.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Fine Art,
Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A compelling online portfolio demonstrating a range of user-centric design
solutions, including sketches, storyboards, final designs, and live experiences.
- Skills: Exceptional visual design skills, strong conceptual thinking, excellent problem-solving
abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
articulate design concepts and decisions effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing
priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
