Job Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer Intern to join our design team. Key Responsibilities
- UI Design Support:
- Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that reflect TerraTern's brand and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and quality across all digital platforms.
- Visual Design:
- Contribute to the creation of design assets, including icons, buttons, and other UI elements.
- Support the design team in maintaining and expanding TerraTern's design system.
- Ensure that designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with TerraTern's brand guidelines.
- User-Centered Design:
- Participate in user research and testing to gather feedback and improve design decisions.
- Work closely with UX designers to understand user needs and translate them into effective UI designs.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data.
- Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers and marketing, to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate design ideas and solutions clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Learning and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and techniques.
- Take initiative to propose new ideas and improvements to existing designs.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or above.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI design work (class projects, personal projects, or previous internships).
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
