Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in mortgage loan files, underwriting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Excel, dashboard creation, and reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis and the ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data checks and analyses on mortgage loan files, identifying discrepancies and providing accurate responses.

Utilize programs used for mortgage loan manufacturing or review to ensure data integrity.

Develop and maintain dashboards, charts, and large data reports using Excel.

Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Support the origination and underwriting teams by providing detailed data analysis and reporting.

Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Work independently to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timelines are met.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role with a focus on mortgage loan files and underwriting.

Strong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, and pivot tables.

Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard creation.

Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (PDFs) and experience working with mortgage loan origination and underwriting systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and effectively.

Ability to work US day shift.
