We're looking for an enthusiastic Typescript developer who is passionate about developing impactful software and contributing to our mission. As developer at NewU you will be primarily focussed on the Web portal (created in React), and the marketing website (created in Next.js) and tertiary, you will support on the Flutter mobile app.

Location: Remote

Timezone: Flexible, accommodating UTC 4 to UTC -0

Tech Stack: TypeScript (must), React (must), Firebase (must), GCP (bonus), Flutter (bonus)

Experience Level: Mid-level (1-2 years of experience in Typescript)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications primarily using TypeScript and React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications
• Participate in technical discussions and provide input for technical strategy
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
• Communicate effectively within the team and across departments
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of professional experience with TypeScript and React
• Utilize Firebase; experience with GCP and Flutter is a plus
• Strong fundamental understanding of software development and web technologies
• Open-minded and eager to learn new concepts and technologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Bringing enthusiasm and positivity to the team
• Passionate about creating scalable and efficient software solutions
• Proactive and self-motivated with a go-getter mentality
