EXTERNAL
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The TS PRT is responsible to perform the following : -
- Manage PRT team in PRT Zonal location and its workload
- Ensure on-time troubleshooting at mainline/ PRT location to maintain fleet availability according to contractual commitments
- Ensure contribution to fleet availability according to contractual commitments during warranty phase
- Take responsibility to manage local small warehouse
- Take lead on RCA, Governance and Corrective actions from Supplier
- Ensure contribution to Reliability Growth and Return of Experience
- Guarantee the application of EHS rules and WI processes
- Manage Field issues and own field situation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide up-to-date data/ information on fleet status to internal and external customers
- Liaise with customer for depot management and loco Maintenance
- Availability of trains according to contractual commitments
- Respect of allocated QCD budgets
- Customer & Maintainer satisfaction with respect to WI scope
- Compliance with EHS rules and WI processes
- Promote continuous improvement ways of working within the fleet team, ensuring robust processes are in place.
- Team Management (if applicable)
- Lead, coach and develop peers and team
- Lead specific duties of the fleet planners team
- Compliance to all relevant procedures and to report and recommend any potential improvements
Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION
- B Tech in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
- Very Good communication, report writing and organisational skills
- IT skills competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, SAP, Planning tools as MS Project, PMS...
- Flexible working hours
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Min 5-6 years of experience in Railway Environment in loco/coaches/trains/metros related product maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and warranty operations
- Very good command on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
- Locomotive/Coaches/Metro Troubleshooting
- lntense railway/metro related Product knowledge
- Railway safety and RAM
- EHS knowledge
- Project Management
- Team Lead and Team Dveloppent skill sets
- Strong technical knowledge about Loco electricals, electronics, TCMS and deep down troubleshooting of Rolling Stock .
- In depth 3-Ph Loco Knowledge and clear understanding about Indian Railways environment
- Strong technical and analytical skillset and dedication for troubleshooting of loco equipment
