To support our mission, we are looking for a Trims Sourcing Specialist who can elevate our sourcing strategies and ensure seamless trims procurement to complement our high-quality apparel.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Sourcing and Procurement:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable trims suppliers for zippers, buttons, labels, elastics, and other garment accessories.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and terms while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
B. Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international trims vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
C. Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all trims meet the company's standards and align with the brand's design aesthetics.
D. Market Trends and Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in trims to bring innovative solutions to the design team.
E. Inventory Management:
- Ensure an optimal stock of trims by forecasting requirements and managing reorders to avoid production delays.
F. Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure trims meet design requirements and project timelines.
- Provide input on cost-effective alternatives while maintaining design integrity.
G. Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of orders, specifications, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure all trims meet sustainability and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in trims sourcing within the apparel or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of trims, their applications, and quality standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
