Treasury Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management:

    o Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

    o Optimize cash management processes to minimize idle cash and maximize returns.

  • Liquidity Planning:

    o Develop and maintain short-term and long-term liquidity plans.

    o Analyze cash flow forecasts and implement strategies to address potential shortfalls or surpluses.

    o Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely cash flow forecasting.

  • Funding and Capital Management:

    o Manage the company's borrowing and investment activities.

    o Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure funding at favorable terms.

    o Manage the documentation with banks required for operationalising the credit facilities

  • Risk Management:

    o Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks.

    o Ensure compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Treasury Operations:

    o Manage the regular operations for Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, fund-based limits etc.

    o Ensure accurate and timely reporting of treasury activities to senior management.

    o Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management and the board of directors.


  • Educational Background:

    o MBA or Master's in Finance or Economics.

    o CA certification is must.


  • Technical Skills:

    o Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PPT.

    o Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

    o Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Work Experience:

    o At least 5-10 years of experience in related field.

    o Experience in managing working capital limits of term loans

  • Key Competencies:

    o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.

    o Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage disputes effectively.

    o Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
